‘musicality and life enriching’ Rod Clements Lindisfarne

Comical musical interactive time-travelling adventure with Italian chefs. Dr Who without the intrusive glamour. Directed by John Nicholson of the side-splitting Peepolykus Theatre Company.

Three really Italian chefs travel through Time & Space & History and back again before last orders. Meet Michelangelo, Noah & his family, an Egyptian pyramid roofer and a host of modern-day names. Travel the globe. Feel its bigness. Make new friends.

With songs by Joe Jackson, Dionne Warwick, Ry Cooder, The Everly Brothers, Iggy Pop, Coope Boyes & Simpson, Lou Reed, The Spooky Men's Chorale and other iconic grooves of our Time. Performed by Jim Howden , Adrian Mealing & William Tooby .

This is also a tribute to the spirit of Italy and one Marco Ceretti, the first Italian to sell Gaggia coffee machines to a grey post-war 50’s Britain . His smile was wide as the Tiber . He later triumphed as President of Rome’s Baseball Club. His spirit breathes amongst us.

‘think Coope, Boyes & Simpson and The Old Rope String Band!’ Karen Tweed
‘a really classy act’ William Wilson, Lyth Arts Centre
‘makes Green Wing look sensible’ Upton Village Hall
'So bizarrely brilliant and effortlessly charming, we wanted to take them home.' Tolmen Centre

As featured on Rick Stein’s Food Heroes and at Edinburgh Comedy Festival 08, The Big Chill, Glastonbury Festival Comedy Marquee, Sidmouth, Towersey Festival… Alive Again! has toured a lot of England and the Scottish Highlands & Islands .
